The Carl's Place DIY Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit brings professional indoor golf into your garage, basement, or dedicated golf room — without the cost of a pre-built commercial bay. Your impact screen runs cleanly to the floor for an uninterrupted turf-to-image line, while the durable surround frames the hitting area and keeps stray shots contained.

Choose from four impact-screen grades and six popular footprints. Carl's includes steel fittings, fasteners, a cut sheet, and step-by-step instructions. Add the optional Pipe Framing Kit for pre-cut 1-inch EMT, or source pipe locally using the exact lengths in your kit.

Floor-to-Ceiling, Borderless Design: Carl's cabled impact screen is engineered for a true simulator look: the bottom edge is borderless so your projected image can meet the hitting surface without a visible seam. Releasable zip ties and a bottom tension cable help manage bounce-back and keep the screen taut through thousands of swings.

Four Impact Screen Grades

Standard Golf Screen — budget-friendly for beginners. 100% heavy-duty polyester, loosely woven.
Preferred Golf Screen — smoother surface, silicone reinforcement, tightly woven knit.
Premium Golf Screen — three layers of impact-resistant polyester with a noise-dampening center layer.
High-Contrast Gray Golf Impact — same top-tier build as Premium; deeper blacks and richer color in brighter rooms.

Preferred suits most home builds. Choose Premium or High-Contrast Gray when image quality and ambient light control matter most.

BlackStop™ Enclosure Surround:Light-absorbing BlackStop™ fabric shades the screen, minimizes glare, and creates a focused hitting environment. Pre-installed connection points accept side nets, a back cover, and other upgrades.

Confident DIY Assembly: Clear instructions, labeled hardware, and a detailed cut sheet — no guesswork on pipe lengths. Most owners hang the enclosure in a little over an hour once pipe is on site; budget ~2 hours with two people for a first-time frame-and-screen build. Frame uses 1-inch EMT and steel fittings only.

Listing sizes are nominal height × width (feet). All standard DIY configs use 5' depth; footprint depth is 67.375". Allow 12" rear buffer (8.25" minimum for rear fittings) and stand 10–12 ft from the screen when hitting.

Choosing Size & Screen

How do I choose the right enclosure size?

Use the dimensions chart in Features & Specs and compare overall height and width to your ceiling and wall span. Leave 12" buffer behind the enclosure (8.25" minimum for rear fittings). Stand at least 10–12 feet from the screen when hitting.

Which impact screen should I choose?

Standard for budget-first builds. Preferred for everyday image quality. Premium for the best white screen. High-Contrast Gray for rooms with ambient light.

DIY vs. Pro — what's the difference?

DIY uses 1-inch EMT and connector fittings — the most cost-effective path. Pro uses 2-inch EMT, heavier construction, and larger commercial sizes.

Frame, Pipe & Assembly

Does the kit include pipe?

No. Add the Pipe Framing Kit in Complete Your Build, or buy 1-inch EMT locally per your cut sheet. Do not use PVC.

How long does assembly take?

~1 hour for the enclosure once pipe is on site; ~2 hours with two people for a first-time full build.

Play, Care & Accessories

Will the screen handle driver shots?

Yes. Higher grades add tighter weave and extra layers. Add the optional Foam Insert Kit to protect frame areas behind the screen flaps.

What if a ball hits the black surround?

Aim at the impact screen. The surround is not a strike surface.

Do I need a hitting mat?

Strongly recommended for joint protection and proper tee height.

Can I replace the screen later?

Yes — email support@gametabledirect.com with your size and screen grade.

Shipping

Processing & lead time	Made-to-order enclosures are cut and sewn to your configuration. Production lead time varies with order volume. Add your configuration to the cart to see current shipping options and an estimated delivery window.
Where we ship	Contiguous United States. Contact us before ordering for quotes to other destinations.
On arrival	Inspect everything when it arrives. Report damage, missing items, or errors right away with your order number and photos. Keep all packaging until any issue is resolved.
Freight delivery	Enclosure orders and orders with a Pipe Framing Kit may ship freight on a pallet. The carrier schedules curbside delivery. Add lift-gate service at checkout if you cannot unload from the truck. Note visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing.

Returns & Refunds

Return window	Most items may be returned within 30 days of delivery if they arrive in new, unused condition with all original packaging, accessories, and components.
Made-to-order items	This enclosure is configured to your selected screen grade and size. Custom and made-to-order Carl's Place items may have limited cancellation or return eligibility once production begins. Contact us before returning.
Restocking fee	Approved returns may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Items that show use, damage, or missing packaging may not qualify. Carl's Place may apply up to a 30% restocking fee on items deemed suitable for discounted resale.
Return shipping	Customer is responsible for all return shipping charges on approved returns.
How to start a return	Email support@gametabledirect.com with your order number and photos of all items. Returns must be approved before shipping anything back.
Order cancellations	Request cancellation within 24 hours of purchase to avoid a 3% processing fee. If the order has already shipped, return shipping costs apply in addition to any processing fee.

Warranty

Manufacturer guarantee	Carl's Place guarantees this product free from defects in materials and workmanship at delivery. Inspect on arrival and contact us immediately if anything is damaged, incomplete, or incorrect.
Wear & normal use	Impact screens are wear components. Ball marks and gradual surface wear from normal play are expected, not defects. No fixed-duration lifespan warranty on impact-wear surfaces.
What's covered	Manufacturing or transit defects on arrival — sewing flaws, missing or wrong hardware, shipping damage.
What's not covered	Normal ball-impact wear; misuse or improper assembly; direct hits to non-strike surfaces; locally sourced pipe (unless you purchased a Pipe Framing Kit); projector, launch monitor, or software.
Claims	Email support@gametabledirect.com with order number, description, and photos. Keep packaging until resolved.
