Step onto the green the moment you walk into the room.
The Carl's Place Curved Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit wraps a premium impact screen around your field of vision, surrounding you in the simulation the way a flat setup never could. The curve isn't a detail — it's depth, dimension, and the quiet sense that you're standing on the course, not in your basement. Designed for serious golfers and simulation enthusiasts alike, it's built to professional-grade standards and engineered to feel at home in both high-end residences and commercial simulator bays.
This is the centerpiece your golf room has been missing. And because every enclosure is made to order for your exact space, the one you build is yours alone.
Swing With an Enhanced Field of View: The curved design opens up a wider visual range, pulling the horizon around you so the green feels close enough to walk onto. Where a flat screen frames your shot, the curve immerses you in it — adding the depth and realism that separates a true simulator suite from a screen on a wall.
An Industry-Leading Premium Golf Impact Screen: At the heart of the kit is a screen engineered for performance under pressure. Three layers of heavy-duty, tightly woven, impact-resistant polyester create one of the smoothest, most durable surfaces on the market for full-impact play. Choose White for crisp, true-to-life projection, or High-Contrast Gray for deeper saturation in brighter rooms.
Behind it, premium Blackstop™ fabric does the quiet work: light-absorbing, distraction-minimizing, built to last.
Curved Innovation, Made DIY Simple: A wraparound experience used to mean a custom commercial install. Not anymore. Clear step-by-step instructions and an included assembly guide mean anyone with basic handy skills can stand up a professional-grade setup, often in an afternoon.
Go Big — and Go Curved: Swing inside the enclosure, or step back and swing outside it — the choice is yours. Available from 9'–10' tall, 14'–17' wide, and 8'–15' deep, with custom sizing available.
Your space is ready. The only question is how soon you want to play.

What makes a curved enclosure better than a flat one?
The curve wraps the screen around your field of vision for a wider, panoramic view that adds depth and realism. Instead of looking at a flat image, you feel surrounded by the course — a noticeably more immersive experience.
Which screen should I choose — White or High-Contrast Gray?
White delivers crisp, true-to-life projection and is the classic choice. High-Contrast Gray deepens color saturation and sharpens definition — ideal for brighter rooms or lower-lumen projectors.
How much space do I need?
Plan for the enclosure footprint plus buffer: stand a minimum of 10–12 feet from the screen, and account for golfer height, club length, ceiling height, and clearance to walls and doorways. The smallest room we recommend is about 9' H × 12.5' W × 18' D (includes 6" above and 2–3" on each side). With 8', 10', and 15' depth options you can swing inside the enclosure or step back and swing outside it. Note: C-Series models add about 9.5" of depth via a backset rear fitting — built-in buffer so hard shots never reach your wall.
Can I get a custom size?
Yes. Beyond the standard configurations, we can build to your exact dimensions within these outer ranges: Height 102"–120", Width 144"–240", Depth 82"–240". The curve itself (a 4.5' Curve Rise) is pre-engineered for optimal immersion and is fixed, but the enclosure dimensions around it are fully customizable. Reach out and we'll size it to your room.
Is this for home or commercial use?
Both. The enclosure is built to professional-grade standards and is equally at home in a high-end residential golf room or a commercial simulator bay.
Is it really DIY, and how long does it take?
Yes. The kit comes with clear step-by-step instructions and an assembly video. Plan on roughly 4 hours with at least two people (helpful for lifting and connecting the frame). If you can assemble flat-pack furniture from picture instructions, you can build this.
What are EMT pipes, and what do I need for the frame?
EMT (Electrical Metal Tubing) is the steel pipe that forms your frame. Curved enclosures require 2-inch EMT — do not use PVC, as it won't fit the steel fittings. You have two options: add our Pipe Framing Kit (pre-cut, sized, marked, and shipped freight), or source 2-inch EMT from a local supplier (it can be hard to find, so confirm a source before ordering). Either way, we provide a diagram with the exact cut lengths.
Does a curved simulator need a special projector?
For a seamless image on the curve you need image warping — either a projector with built-in warping (such as the BenQ AK700ST, BenQ LK936ST, or LG ProBeam BU53RG) or any projector paired with warping software (such as Immersive Display Pro). Tip: measure your projector's throw distance to the front edge of the curve closest to the golfer, not the deepest point.
Will the screen hold up to full-speed swings?
Yes. The screen is three layers of heavy-duty, tightly woven, impact-resistant polyester built for full-impact play, and the included foam inserts protect the frame from shanked shots.
What if the black enclosure material gets hit by a ball?
The black surround isn't designed to take a direct hit. In normal play, balls strike the impact screen and any bounce-back to the enclosure is harmless — just aim at the screen, not the side panels.
How do I clean the screen, and can I replace it?
The impact screen can be cleaned following our screen-care guidance. Replacement screens are available if you ever need one — just reach out to our team.
Do I need a hitting mat?
A hitting mat is strongly recommended — it cushions your joints, lets you tee the ball at the proper height, and adds realism. A 4' × 5' mat suits most golfers; choose 5' × 7' or 4' × 9' for a wider stance or mixed righty/lefty play.

Freight note: Orders that include a Pipe Framing Kit ship by freight. If you can't unload a pallet of 50 lb boxes, add lift-gate service at checkout.
Safety: For everyone's safety: follow the assembly manual, keep children, pets, and spectators clear of the swing range, protect ceilings, walls, windows, and nearby property, and review our Terms of Sale before use.
Manufacturer guarantee
Carl's Place guarantees this enclosure kit to be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery. Inspect every component when your order arrives — if anything arrives damaged, incomplete, or not as ordered, contact us right away with your order number and photos so we can resolve it promptly.
Impact screens & normal wear
The Premium Golf Impact Screen is engineered for full-speed play, but it is a high-use wear component by design. Ball strikes will mark and gradually wear the screen surface over time — that is expected, not a defect. Carl's Place does not offer a fixed-duration performance guarantee or lifespan warranty on impact screens. With proper tension, care, and normal use, owners commonly get years of reliable play from a premium screen before replacement is needed.
What's covered
Defects in materials or workmanship present on arrival — including sewing flaws, missing or incorrect hardware, or damage that occurred in transit. We will work with Carl's Place to repair, replace, or resolve eligible issues at no cost to you when confirmed as a manufacturing or shipping defect.
What's not covered
Normal wear from golf ball impact; cosmetic marks that appear after first use; damage from misuse, modification, or improper assembly; direct hits to the Blackstop™ surround panels (designed for the impact screen to take the strike); frame tubing you source locally (2-inch EMT is your responsibility unless you add the Pipe Framing Kit); projector, launch monitor, software, or other third-party equipment; and clearance or remnant items sold as-is.
Replacement parts
Most kit components — including replacement impact screens, enclosure panels, and hardware — can be purchased individually when an upgrade or refresh is needed. Reach out with your enclosure size and screen material and we will help you order the correct part.
How to file a claim
Email us with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos of the affected components. Do not discard packaging until the claim is resolved. Because each enclosure is made to order, cancellation and return terms also apply — see our Returns Policy for full details.
